The Big Easy Award winning See 'Em On Stage: A Production Company ('Lizzie'-Best Musical 2016) presents William Shakespeare's violent, horrifying, and darkly comedic tragedy Titus Andronicus. Known as 'Shakespeare's bloodiest play', the production will star Ron Gural in the title role of Titus and Trina Beck as the vicious and vengeful Tamora.

Howard Hawks, the quintessential Hollywood director known for his mastery of many genres, will be the subject of a complete retrospective at Museum of the Moving Image from today, September 7 through November 10, 2013. The Museum will present 39 features. All of the films will be shown in 35mm-many in stunning restorations-except for Red Line 7000, which will be shown in 16mm.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) announced today that the prestigious Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, DC, home to the world's largest and finest collection of Shakespeare materials, will present CST's Education Department with the Shakespeare Steward Award. Inaugurated in 2007, the Folger Shakespeare Steward Award is presented annually to a person or organization for innovative teaching of Shakespeare in American classrooms. Chicago Shakespeare Theater will be the first theater to receive this prestigious award.
