Peter Rice, Chairman, Entertainment, Fox Networks Group; and Kevin Reilly, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, today unveiled the FOX primetime schedule for the 2012-2013 television season to the national advertising community during its annual Programming Presentation at the Beacon Theatre.

Becki Newton Set for Untitled CBS Pilot

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Becki Newton is set to star in a still untitled CBS pilot. The project will be written and executive produced by Jackie and Jeff Filgo. Andy Ackerman is on board to direct the pilot. Newton will play a single-mom who is the daughter of the main character.

According to USMagazine.com, UGLY BETTY's Becki Newton and her husband Chris Diamantopoulos have welcomed a son to the family. The 32 year old gave birth to a baby boy in Los Angeles in early November. It is the couple's first child.

Michael Urie, best known for his charming portrayal of Marc St. James on ABC's 'Ugly Betty,' will star as Mozart in Amadeus at the Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh, North Carolina. The show, which will play this weekend only, marks the first-ever collaboration between the North Carolina Symphony and PlayMakers Repertory Company. In 2009, Urie received a Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Lead Actor when he originated the role of Rudi Gernreich in the off-Broadway play, The Temperamentals. And, beginning in February 2011, he will be taking on the role of Prior Walter in the first New York City revival of Tony Kushner's Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes.
Newton & Diamantopoulos Announce Pregnancy; 'Love Bites' Moved to NBC's Midseason

NBC will air the new anthology comedy 'Love Bites' at midseason, due to casting issues, USA Today reports. Actress Becki Newton ('Ugly Betty') is pregnant; Vernon Sanders, executive vice president of current programming, says that in the show's pilot, 'she plays a virgin, so we have to make adjustments to that.' In addition, actress Jordana Spiro is leaving the show, due to conflicts with her role on 'My Boys.' Cindy Chupack has also stepped now from her role as executive producer, although she will write for the show, USA Today reports.

Sex and the City 2 had its official New York City premiere last night, May 24th at Radio City Music Hall. The film will hit screens in the same date slot that Sex and the City did in 2008 on May 27.
