Producer Eva Price announced today that the critically acclaimed play Small Mouth Sounds, written by Bess Wohl and directed by Obie Award-winner Rachel Chavkin (Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812), has been extended by popular demand.

A play about a spiritual retreat in which DeBonis' character and five others are largely silent resonates with poignant statements about the human condition.

Last night, film and television star Jennifer Grey came to see the quietest show in New York City, the hit Ars Nova production of SMALL MOUTH SOUNDS, which opened last Wednesday at the Pershing Square Signature Center/Linney Theatre and is playing a limited engagement through September 25th. La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for Guards at the Taj, the final production of the 2015/2016 season. Written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo), the show marks Associate Artistic Director Jaime Castañeda's directorial debut at the Playhouse. In addition to Everett herself, the benefit concert, directed by Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Rock Bottom), will feature tributes, roasts and send-up performances from Grammy and Tony Award-winner Patti LuPone and actor, comedian and Emmy-nominee Billy Eichner. Ars Nova announces a two-week extension and added Saturday matinee performances for critically-acclaimed world premiere production of Small Mouth Sounds, a new play by Bess Wohl, directed by OBIE Award-winner Rachel Chavkin. Due to demand, Small Mouth Sounds will now play through Saturday, April 25, with newly added Saturday matinee performances on April 4, 11, 18, and 25. The production, which was originally set to play through April 11, began previews March 10 and celebrated its Official Opening Night on Monday, March 23 at Ars Nova (511 West 54th Street), must end April 25.
