Jacob's Pillow, home to the longest-running dance festival in the United States, launches a Virtual Festival with eight weeks of free programming, July 7-August 29.

MNE (Mare Nostrum Elements), in collaboration with LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, announces the 7th annual EMERGING CHOREOGRAPHER SERIES, February 24 & 25, 7:30 PM at LaGuardia Performing Arts Center, 31-10 Thomson Avenue, LIC.  If those dates are not convenient for you, we also invite you to attend the dress rehearsal on Sunday, February 23 at 4 PM.

ODC Theater is proud to present Cori Olinghouse in the West Coast premiere of GRANDMA, February 15 - 17. Best known for her practice of 'Clown Therapy,' which she defines as 'shape-shifting and a queering of the clown form,' Olinghouse in Grandma excavates the effects of television, the media and her own family lineage as portals to parody American consumerism. Sharing the bill with Grandma is Olinghouse's short film Ghost line. Since their inception in 2009, the Platform series, Danspace Project's signature curatorial initiative, has 'given dance presentation a makeover.' (The New York Times). Conceived by Danspace Project Executive Director and Chief Curator Judy Hussie-Taylor as exhibitions that unfold over time, Platforms are multi-week series of performances and events, organized by guest curators, that act as deep inquiries into artistic practice and concerns. Ten Platforms have been held to date, each accompanied by a print catalogue.

Choreographer Doug Elkins and co-directors Barbara Karger and Michael Preston have announced that they will conclude a three-year tour of the acclaimed production Fräulein Maria at Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, today, August 22 through August 26.
