According to a report in Variety, actor Drew Seeley will be joined by Annie Potts and Emmy-winning soap actress Kim Zimmer in the film ‘Freshman Father.' Potts will play a surrogate mother to Seeley's character, a Harvard undegrad student who finds himself in over his head as he tries to balance academic and parental responsibilites. Zimmer will play Seeley's dean of the school.

From 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m., more than 65 teen girls from Pasadena and beyond, along with their mentors, will participate in the workshop part of PlayWriteGirl.
