A spectacular concert Kings Of Broadway which celebrates the music of legendary Broadway composers Jerry Herman, Stephen Sondheim and Jule Styne will be performed for one night only  at The Palace Theatre, London on Sunday November 29.

BBC Worldwide NORTH AMERICA Sales & Co-productions and PBS announced that the critically acclaimed British drama LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX will return for a third season in the U.S., premiering tonight, June 28, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. ET on PBS.

West End leading lady Imelda Staunton is among a list of stars lending support to a charity gala to honour Stephen Sondheim at London's Theatre Royal, Drury Lane this October. Staunton comments, This year, Stephen Sondheim turned 85, and some of his old friends here in London - and I'm sure a few young ones - feel that we'd like to do something to celebrate. But we need your help to make it happen.

The third LONDON FESTIVAL OF CABARET (LFoC) runs from April 28-May 11 and in addition to a spectacular list of artists, three prestigious new venues have joined the roster.

The Crazy Coqs has announced is February 2015 program at the Brasserie Zedel, Piccadilly, London W1, featuring: Purdy (February 3,4 & 5); Phil Ryan (February 6 & 7); Jeff Harnar & KT Sullivan (February 10-14); Anne Reid & Stefan Bednarczyk (February 17-21); and Liliane Montevecchi (February 24-28).

The Daily Mail reports that Anne Reid and Janie Dee will star as Madame Armfeldt and her daughter Desiree, respectively, in a concert performance of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC at the Palace Theatre on January 26, 2015. The show will mark the 40th anniversary of the original London production.

The St. James Studio will present a brand new show for Christmas, Noel Coward's Christmas Spirits, which will run from 08 - 23 December 2014, with press performances on Wednesday 10 December at 3pm and 8pm.

BBC Worldwide North America Sales & Distribution and PBS announced today that the critically acclaimed British drama LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX will return for a second season in the U.S.

Brian Friel's adaptation of Ibsen's seminal work, Hedda Gabler, will open at The Old Vic tonight, 12 September. Directed by Anna Mackmin, this major new production will star Olivier award-winning actress Sheridan Smith in the title role with Darrell D'Silva as Judge Brack, Buffy Davis as Bertha, Daniel Lapaine as Eilert Loevborg, Anne Reid as Juliana Tesman, Adrian Scarborough as George Tesman, and Fenella Woolgar as Thea Elvsted.

Renowned artist Mel Leipzig, professor of art and art history at Mercer County Community College, presents an illustrated lecture, 'The Use of Black and White in Painting,' highlighting works from the Renaissance to Contemporary Art, today at 12 noon.

The Menier Chocolate Factory's sell out production of Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's A Little Night Music is to transfer to the West End for a strictly limited run. Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production will transfer to the Garrick Theatre from 28 March, with press night on Tuesday 7 April and is booking until 25 July 2009. A Little Night Music is produced in the West End by David Babani for Chocolate Factory Productions, Andrew Fell and Nica Burns and Max Weitzenhoffer for Nimax Theatres.

Anna Francolini and Gary Waldhorn will be joining the Royal Opera House's new production of Into the Woods next month

The nominations have been released for the 2006 Laurence Olivier Awards. The ceremony for this year's awards will take place at the Park Lane Hilton on February, 2006. Leading the pack this year are Billy Elliot with nine nominations, and Guys and Dolls with eight.
