On today's 'LIVE with Kelly,' Jake Gyllenhaal sat down with Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Jeffrey Dean Morgan to talk about the Broadway musical SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE.

In commemoration of the opening of the 41st Broadway theatre, Sunday in the Park with George has announced the show will offer the front row orchestra seats to preview performances (February 11 - February 22) at $41, to celebrate the re-opening of Hudson Theatre as it becomes Broadway's 41st theater.

Jake Gyllenhaal makes his musical Broadway debut in the revival of SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE. Today, the actor turned to Facebook to share rehearsal footage from the production.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that producers have withdrawn the upcoming revival of Sunday in the Park with George from awards season consideration.

On February 3 and 4 at 7:30 PM, Maestro Fischer will conduct Brahms' Symphony No. 2 and Brahms' "Academic Festival Overture", in a concert that features guest artist Narek Hakhnazaryan debuting in Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1. Maestro Fischer will return to the stage two weeks later to lead Brahms' Symphony No. 4 on February 24 and 25, concluding Brahms' symphony cycle in the Utah Symphony 2016-17 season. The February 24/25 concert will also include the U.S. premiere of Michael Jarrell's composition "Aquateinte" performed by guest oboist Francois Leleux, for whom the piece was written. These performances are both part of the O.C. Tanner Company Masterworks Series. Tickets start at $21 ($15 for students), and can be purchased at utahsymphony.org or by calling (801) 533-6683.

Directed by Sarna Lapine, performances are set to begin Saturday, February 11, 2017, ahead of a Thursday, February 23rd Opening Night, and will play through Sunday, April 23rd.

Second, thank goodness for En Route productions and their two female artistic directors, one of whom also directed the show, the other whom also designed the set. Third, credit is due to this theatre company for incorporating their work into the visual arts landscape to give us a double dose of worthy culture in a city where having a sandwich at Micklethwaite Meats is possibly as close as some hipsters will get to art or theatre.
