Those who have made significant contributions to the arts in a variety of categories will be recognized for their achievements in enriching the communities and citizens of Utah at the 14th Annual Star Awards held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the SCERA Center for the Arts in Orem.

Veteran director Jerry Elison loves the musical, "Fiddler on the Roof," and when it plays Aug. 3-18 at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre, it will mark his fifth time directing the musical theatre masterpiece of a dairy farmer living a humble life in 1905 Tsarist Russia, struggling to preserve his beloved traditions when his five willful daughters have hearts and minds of their own.
