The fourth season of New York Theatre Barn's Choreography Lab launches on Monday, February 20, 2016 at The Cell. The Choreography Lab is the only curated choreography platform where choreographers and writers collaborate to develop movement for new musicals during incubation.

TheatreZone closed their sold-out run of "George M!" with a surprise audience guest who's no stranger to George M. Cohan's trademark songs and signature performance style. George M. Cohan III, George M. Equity actress Lana Neuman makes her professional debut as the innocent and morally upstanding Susan Hunsecker, the young sister of the sinister New York columnist J.J. Hunsecker, in TheatreZone's production of Sweet Smell of Success. Based upon the 1957 film noir, the Tony-award winning musical opens the professional theatre group's 11th anniversary season with 11 performances January 7 through January 17, 2016.

TheatreZone artistic director Mark Danni has cast two veteran TheatreZone male vocalists he believes can deliver on legendary Broadway composer Marvin Hamlisch's final score for Sweet Smell of Success, the not-for-profit Equity theatre group's Season 11 opening musical production. The 10-day run takes place January 7 through January 17, 2016.

The cast of the Walnut Street Theatre's production of 'Grease' created a music video to pay tribute to the city of Philadelphia - the birthplace of America and home of the oldest theatre in the country - just in time for Independence Day! Directed and choreographed by Adolpho Blaire, who plays Roger in the production, the video takes viewers on a tour of some of the most famous sites in the city of Brotherly Love including Love Park, Independence Hall, the 'Rocky Steps' at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and even backstage at the 204 year old Theatre. The cast goes sightseeing and eventually dances through the streets to a disco-crazed version of 'Yankee Doodle Dandy' by Paul Jabara. The original tune, incidentally, was sung by George M. Cohan himself in 1904 at the Walnut Street Theatre in 'Little Johnny Jones' before it's opening on Broadway. Click below to watch the video!
