Tony Nominee and Disney Legend Jodi Benson brings love and laughter in Encore Performing Arts’ production of Hello, Dolly! The iconic musical, born from Thornton Wilder's classic farce, is a jubilant ride through turn-of-the-century New York, filled with the wit and wisdom of the indomitable Dolly Gallagher Levi. Accompany her on a quest to unite hearts and turn the world upside down in the pursuit of love.
Originally directed and choreographed by Gower Champion, Hello, Dolly! made history on Broadway in 1964, clinching an astounding 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. And with four Broadway revivals and international acclaim, this production has proven itself a timeless gem. With energetic dance numbers and the unforgettable melodies that made the musical a household name, Hello, Dolly! will capture your heart and leave you humming the tunes long after the final curtain falls.
Encore Performing Arts is proud to partner with Give Kids the World Village for this production. A portion of the proceeds will go directly to benefit Give Kids the World Village, an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides critically ill children and their families with magical week-long wish vacations at no cost.
Hello, Dolly! is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC. www.concordtheatricals.com
