I was hoping to see a show tonight, and was wondering if anyone had experiences with rushing shows very last minute. Is there one that doesn't sell out rush before 5?

Chicago is pretty easy & you can always try standing room for a few shows last minute if a show is sold out they offer SRO for shows like Chicago, BOM , Matilda, Fun Home and I think the color purple too.

There are a ton of digital lotteries you could enter right now for tonight's performances, and then if you don't win those you could stop by some box offices and check to see if they have last-minute rush tickets. Make sure to check performance schedules, though, as not all shows have Sunday evening performances (although tonight may be different because of the holiday today and tomorrow).

Generally shows in early previews (Blackbird, Disaster) have a good chance of being easier rushes, and those that have been running for a long times and don't do well at the box office (most of those closed in the beginning of January). Have a look at the latest grosses and see which shows that sell low capacity have a rush policy and a performance tonight, and be prepared to go several box offices, or have a back-up plan, i.e. a discount code that might get you a rear mezz ticket for $40-$50 dollars... or like miriam said, SRO
