"Are you aware that the entire balcony is always $35?"
Well, really $44 and not a big chunk of the front center. Those tickets are $70 not including fees (assuming you're not using any kind of discount code or service).
I think City Centers version of rush tickets in their peer-to-peer program for students, where you can buy $25 tickets for their Encores and Off-Center Encores shows.
Not entirely sure how to sign up since I'm not a student. Tickets go on sale before general sale starts though, so their tickets for Cabin In The Sky might be sold out now...
VintageSnarker, not if you go to the box office. The OP asked for rush so I assumed they'd be willing to go to the box office. The sight lines are great no matter where you sit. I don't think it's really a "big chunk" that's $70 as I've sat in the 2nd row of the balcony for $35 in the past.
_IrisTInkerbell, it has been discussed extensively on this board but they don't really do P2P codes for regular Encores anymore. There was one for Cabin in the Sky, but there isn't usually. Wasn't much of a discount anyway. (Depends on the popularity of the show.)
Sorry neon. I never took much notice of P2P because, like I said, I can't use it anyway. I know it exists and I know what the situation for off-center was because I friend who is part of it got tickets for me last summer. That's the extend of my knowledge.
Hey, I'm actually signed for the peer to peer program, they asked an edu email and it says usually a week after the tickets are made available to City Center members only, they send you a promo code to type in
