Can someone possibly help me identify the song in this video clip? I am trying to choreograph a group gymnastics routine and would LOVE to use it, if only I can find the title and the musical it's from. Thanks!
Well, I don't mean to threadjack, but I'm wondering about the title/performer/ year of a particular song. I was on a roadtrip yesterday and was listening to a somewhat familiar song on Sirius XM on Broadway. Usually, the title is on for about two seconds and then nothing. Anyway, in that song, the lady is lamenting her very amiable divorce, she works freelance...sends her son off to college...she is free spirited and has many lovers and finds it harder to find a job as she gets older. She also mentions that while she fought for women's rights, but finds herself at the hiring mercy of younger bosses who didn't struggle as she did. "and I'm not complaining" is a refrain that she sings. Thanks...RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
