I have family coming into town. I haven't seen this show and she loves all things French/dancing, so it seems like a solid pick. Does anyone know where the TKTS tickets would be? Mezz? Is the view okay? I've heard different things about the balcony or else I'd just go ahead and buy them up there.
I saw the show from row E of the balcony, and I thought the view was just fine. I also saw the show from row N of the mezzanine. I definitely preferred the balcony.

I was there today at three (stood in line for an hour), and everything was up there (except Hamilton)at 50% off - except Fun Home which was at 40%. I think for American In Paris, TKTS should be pretty good.

I bought tickets for AAIP when it was up at TKTS back in early July and the seats were in the last row, center orchestra. I didn't mind them at all; I actually thought it was a pretty great view.. even if it did feel a little far away.
Hm. I'm kind of a stickler for the mezz overhang. I hate how it cuts off the top of the stage. But for the design of this, I don't know if that's good or bad. Maybe I should just go for the balcony? Just don't want the seats to suck.
You can always ask TKTS if they have other seats too. I've had them offer me side orchestra and asked if they had any center mezzanine available and they were happy to sell the others. (This was for a different show.) Of course it depends on availability but don't assume you can only have the tickets they offer you.
