I just thought I'd start a thread since no one has yet.
Bryan Cranston is set to reprise his Tony-Winning role of LBJ in a film adaptation of the 2014 Tony Award-Winning play, All the Way. Playwright Robert Schenkkan is adapting his play with Jay Roach (Austin Powers, Meet the Parents, HBO's Game Change, The Campaign, and the upcoming Trumbo starring Bryan Cranston) will direct. Steven Spielberg will serve as a executive producer along with Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey. James Degus will co-executive produce along with both Schenkkan and Cranston.
It was recently announced that Melissa Leo will play Lady Bird Johnson and Anthony Mackie will play Martin Luther King, Jr.
Looking forward to this one--although the title still reminds me of the late '50s Joe E. Lewis biopic THE JOKER IS WILD starring Frank Sinatra, which featured the song "All the Way."
And wasn't it "All the Way with JFK" (no jokes, please) before the phrase was associated with LBJ?
