I LOVED Fun Home off-Broadway. I desperately want to see it on Broadway - probably a few times. But I cannot seem to ever win that virtual lotto and the only cheap ticket is like $70? Are there any other options? I know it's a small theater, but I can't afford that much for a ticket.

Fun home is a hot new show the cheapest way in that I've found without doing lotto or standing room is a $65 ticket.

Use code: BJJPP to get the $65 price

They will do SRO when it sells out after opening also

Fun Home is doing SRO now--it's $30 the day of the show if it's sold out (which it usually is!)  You can pay cash or credit and because the theatre is small and the show is short, it's an easy show to stand for.  We went this morning about 10 minutes after the box office opened and got tickets easily.

How many lotto tickets do they give out for each show? Also, has anyone else tried SRO? How late have they had them still available? Want to try for Thursday but don't know how early I can get down there.

I've only done SRO for Hedwig and there was a railing to lean against - for anyone who has stood during Fun Home, is there something to lean against or are you just standing straight up?

There are $37 tickets through mid June if you're a student and a member of tix4students. The membership fee is low and you can sign up right as you're buying the ticket. There's a link in the tickets & info section of the show's website. It's how I saw the show - grateful the option was there!

Where were your seats through Tix4Students, may I ask?

Tix4Students seats are located in row J of the 100 section. I have my tickets for June so can't share on the view, but from what I've read pretty much all seats are great

Where do people even stand in The Circle in the Square? I saw Fun Home and was sitting in the back row (a fine view) and did not really see any place except the aisles that they could get people to do standing room in.

There are reailings on the longer sides of the theatre for SRO.

I did SRO about 2 weeks ago (I think the Thursday after Tony noms were announced). I got my ticket at about 6:15pm for an 8pm show. The SRO section was behind the last row on the long side of the theatre on the right as you enter, with some standing on the "corner" of the oval also. It's a pipe rail at a good height for leaning, and the spots are numbered with generous room per space. I was #8 and the view was fantastic.

Well, we can forget about TodayTix. As of earlier this evening, ALL tickets went from "from $75" to "from $200" for all remaining performances this week. Nothing but premiums from TodayTix. Is this a glitch?

Got SRO tickets on Sunday at about 1:00.  It was an easy show to stand for and i felt i had a perfect view of the show.  I recommend it if you don't mind standing.

I went the morning of Friday July 24th....I would have gotten there sooner (damn MTA) but managed to get there around 9:30 and was about 12th in line. I know a couple of people ahead of me got multiple tickets (one group got about 5 SROs) but nevertheless I still managed to get two of them for that night.

I went to the box office two weeks ago and got tickets for $52, partial view, very partial view in fact. But worth it overall. There are only two of these in the theatre and they're across from each other.

Can you go into any more detail about the view/where the seats were located in the theater?

How would J or K be in the 100s? Those seem to be the cheapest on Telecharge for $109 or $119. I have lost the lottery every day for months, don't want to do standing room, and am ready to splurge on a full price ticket already. Is it worth spending the extra $40 per ticket for a closer seat in the 200s section or should I be good here? Thank you. :)

G437 was my seat. The 400s are behind the band and I couldn't see one of the corners of the stage at all, only if I moved a little closer to the person next to me (an old lady sleeping thru the whole show, so I'm sure she didn't even noticed).

It was ok since there's only a few scenes happening in that corner. It was really ok considering how much I paid for my ticket.
