Gentlemens Guide understudies

In the last month my wife and I rushed gentlemen's guide twice both times we were amazed with Mr. Jefferson and Mr. Bryce amazing performances. We were just wondering has anyone seen the show with there understudies going on? Does the show still have the spark when these 2 amazing actors are out.

Pinkham and Mays both have very, very stellar reputations for not missing performances and each has only missed a handful. Suffice to say that the company of Gentleman's a Guide is beyond reproach and any understudy you might see is more than capable of filling the shows. Those two roles really require an actor to play those characters regularly to reach the heights that they do, but their understudies are fantastic,

I saw Jeff Kready go on for Bryce Pinkham and I thought he was outstanding. Very different from Pinkham, he's a bit less smarmy seeming, a little bit more naive. He had great facial expressions that punctuated a lot of the funny moments and he's got a stellar voice.
