Hi everyone, I wanted to get 2 tickets to Beautiful for my friend for her birthday Sun the 19th. I haven't seen a thread about rush lately so I was wondering if anyone could give any tips. How early should I get there? And also I heard someone saying that they only sell standing room seats now. Is that true? Thanks!
You can't get rush on a Sunday, from the show's website: "A limited number of $40 tickets will be made available for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening performances now through November 6th"
So, best you can do for a Sunday would be SRO. No clue how early one lines up for that, though.
Bump! Sorry to bring this back up to the boards but I'm rushing tomorrow (Tuesday) for my friend since they don't do it on the weekends. Any idea what time I should be there to guarantee rush tickets? I've already checked broadway spotteds rush report. I just wanted to see if anyone had any first hand experience. Thanks so much!
The last time I tried was on a Sunday, but the box office guy told me to line up no later than three hours prior to opening on any given day. Being that Jessie Mueller is (I believ) scheduled to be out tomorrow, it might be a little easier (but don't let that deter you from going!).

I definitely won't let it deter me, but just out of curiosity where do you see that? I know it usually tells you on telecharge but I can't seem to find it on the mobile version.
And thanks for the advice! I will be there bright and early then!
Bway Understudies @understudies · Oct 8 Rebecca LaChance (@RebeccaLaChance) will be on as Carole King in @BeautifulOnBway Oct 21, Oct 31-Nov 2, & Nov 4!
On telecharge it only mentions the 27th-2nd, but I've heard tomorrow mentioned more than once.

Not sure about Saturdays nut last Sunday I got in line at 11:00 and was only the second person in line. I was quite shocked. The line didn't even pick up until about 11:50 anyway - by 11:45 there were only 6 of us in line.
That's the risk of rush, it's a dice roll. Sometimes people show up at 6 a.m., sometimes people figure they're too late to go already and no one's even there yet...
It is only SRO, though, so rush for seats would be a different story...
Does anyone know what the rush will be like in Feburary? I don't get into the city unil 11 and am curious to know if it will be worthwhile to go to the box office as soon as I get there.
