Saw this at the Huntington Theater yesterday with very low expectations and we were quite surprised at how well it was done. Malcolm Jamal Warner (don't call him Theo!) was a bit stiff in the Sidney Poitier roll, but still did a good enough job, and the rest of the cast was very good, including Adriane Lenox, in a small but important role.

Not sure where it might turn up next, but it's worth your time.

What is it, a new dramatization of the movie? I don't think it was ever a play.

Personally, I love this roll.

Dammit, I fixed the second roll but not the first one.

To answer New's question, yes, they've turned the film into a play. Done without updating or many changes at all from the original. It was really surprising how slowly you see the characters think and rethink their positions, and it was very well done.

Mister Matt, I appreciate your attempt at humor, but that is definitely NOT a Sidney Poitier roll!
