Here I was expecting to read about a curious incident that happened at a stage door! I've known a few strange things to happen there, but I guess not this time.
I saw the show tonight (Thursday the 18th). The stage door wasn't crowded at all, everyone was very nice, and everyone, except one cast member (who i must have missed by not paying attention) very nicely signed my poster. Everyone was super sweet, especially Alex who enthusiastically chatted with everyone who spoke to him.
For those who have been lately, has it been crowded? I would really like to meet Alex Sharp after and wanted to know if I watched the post-curtain scene if I'd still be OK. Does the cast sign for everyone waiting or does it work like whoever gets to the front of the barricades only gets to meet them. Thank you.
Well I went back in January, and there weren't any barricades. It was super casual and unless a cast member was in a hurry, they stopped to chat, sign, and take photos. I was at a Saturday matinee and Alex Sharp, Enid Graham, Francesca Faridany, Helen Carey, Jocelyn Bioh, and Ben Horner came out. Probably more would come out in the evenings, especially now that it's summer and not freezing outside. There were probably about 10 other people waiting, maybe 15 max. Not sure how it is now, though. I watched the post-curtain scene and was totally fine. The stage door security man said no one would be coming out, but we waited and of course the actors came out.
