Hello my fellow Broadway enthusiasts. I have 2 questions. I happened to get 2 nd row center on the aisle for a Sunday in October. Are they "too" close? I got a very good deal. I know there is some confusion about the stage door. Where is it located and do you think most of the cast would come out because there is only one show? Thanks guys! You're the best group of people, love this community.
The seats are not too close, I know because I sat in the EXACT same seats. The stage is not particularly high, so you won't miss anything!! A lot of action will occur right in front of you.
Stage door is on 46th street, and yes most of the cast comes out and signs. They are very nice. You will have to wait for Ramin to come out. Last time I waited for him is was about and hour after the show (I NEVER stage door, was getting signatures for my friends sick cousin who is a huge Ramin fan).
As brdway411 mentioned, the stage door is on 46th street, so make sure you exit the theatre in that direction so you don't get stuck having to walk around the whole block! Most of the cast generally signs, including the kids in the show.
The best way to get to the stage door is to simply exit through the house left doors instead of heading out the theater lobby. If you do go out the lobby (front) entrance, you shouldn't have to go around the whole block. Just take a right out the front door then the immediate right and through the parking lot. This will lead you to 46th st. and you will see the back doors of the Imperial and the stage door is right there. You'll see lots of people standing there blocking the sidewalk.
