She loves to cry at weddings. Despite her straying husband, an inveterate romantic remains steadfastly enamored of the ideal of wedded bliss. A nosegay from the past by George Kelly that is smart, sweet, genteel, and thoroughly disarming. It's a welcome, and much-needed breath of fresh air offering us relief from the muck and mire of what calls itself theatre nowadays. The production at the Mint offers some fine performances and stylish set and costume design.

It's a strange sensation for an old timer to suddenly experience once again the kind of play that let you know the minute the curtain rose that all you needed to do was sit back, relax and enjoy the next two and a half hours on stage. It was blissful, and matchless. To encounter it again is dulcet, comforting ...... and not a little sad.

Sounds pretty wonderful and a harbinger back to those old Boulevard plays (comedy plays from the 60's) that I really wish were still in style. Thanks for the recommendation and I will definitely be seeing this.
