Hello.
I saw a thread honoring the first preview of "This is Our Youth", but I just wanted to make one for the rush process to help everyone with questions about the experience.

Did anyone attempt it today? Could you share your experience if you have? Do you think it will be one of the tougher rushes? I do plan on attending tomorrow and if anyone is interested I will share my experience as well.

Very excited about this show!

The rush policy follows: "A limited number of rush tickets, for theatregoers aged 30 and under, will be available the day of the performance at the box office of the Cort Theatre. The $35 rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person with valid photo ID, available during box office hours."

Could someone please report as to where the student rush tix are located? My daughter is thinking of getting a rush ticket but would like to know where they are located. She asked me, but I have absolutely no idea. Thanks.

They are in the mezzanine boxes - really great view, close to the stage. I was sitting in the house left box and had a perfect view of the action, except for a tiny bit of staging all the way stage right that I could see if I craned my neck.

What time should I arrive? Are people lining up early for this one?

I rushed on Thursday morning -- got there at 8:30 and was second in line. Maybe about 15-20 people were there by the time the box office opened? I got two tickets front-row center and other people in the rush line got front row as well. The stage isn't very high, so it's a near-perfect view if you can get it! Not my favorite play I've seen, but it's very funny and I enjoyed Cera/Gevinson/Culkin.

By "not very high" how high do you think it is off the ground? I'm 4'11" so my version of not high is sometimes different than other people's. Was there a finite # of rush tickets they gave out?

Seems if one arrives early, one gets front-row center. Later rushers get the boxes, which afford a really good view as well. Thanks--good to know and pass on info.
