Can this picture mean anything but an extended run for American Idol Should-have-been-winner David Archuleta in Wicked? Congratulations on your inevitable Broadway Debut, Porkchop!
After looking around it seems as if he saw the show in UT, which is interesting. I had a Mormon boss who was booking shows in NYC and Wicked was one show he and his family could not see because of the witches and witchcraft.
It is rather hard to decipher his message of "Saw this tonight." while posed in front of the Wicked poster. So, I'll go out on a limb and say he took that because he went to see Wicked?
There should be a tutorial thread on how to properly embed images without having to use the "optional image" feature. I know it can be done but have no idea how.
I ceased watching IDOL somewhere around Archuleta's era. But I remember how often the judge's would use "Broadway" as a pejorative to describe the singing. As if the use of some sort of combo of legit technique/sound and lyric interpretation diluted the pop sensibility. Especially today, ridiculous. Randy in particular often landed on "too Broadway" to measure a performance. It now seems faintly ludicrous, considering how many IDOL folk have landed here. If anything, the show funneled the people into the theater. If anyone cares to make a list, it will make Randy's remarks appear even dumber than they sounded on-air.

This thread is clearly a joke though. If not, it's very creepy that someone has designated a Tony to a person who has never and will never even play the role. Unless you're his manager, then it's fine.
