I just want to take a moment to show appreciation for the writer of the book for 2 of the greatest musicals- or stage works altogether- Cabaret and She Loves Me.

I believe he is in his 90s now- don't know any other personal details- but I hope he feels respect and gratitude that his works are still held in such high regard.

Does anyone know if there is a good biography of his life available?

I know of no biography, but it was a thrill to see him as a presenter at this year's Drama Desk Awards. He flubbed a bit, but he rebounded. He seemed to be doing quite well.

There's a nice little interview with him included here, with some biographical info.

Let's not forget his work on 70, GIRLS, 70, which is one of my favorite works of Kander and Ebb.
