So much awesomeness.

Heather McRae looks great.

Peter Link looks stoned.

Love when they go into the audience.

Several of us just saw Heather MacRae at 54 Below, where she was singing in a tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber.

And SonofRobbie also sang in the show!

Heather sang her two songs from Jesus Christ Superstar--she was Magdalene in the LA production, which she did for Tom O'Horgan after she did Hair. She had a lot of wonderful stories about him and the cast of Superstar--and she sounded luscious.

So did Robbie.

Did she have anything to say about Teddie and Carl, PJ?

That was awesome, thanks for posting. I originally saw Hair back in high school, a touring company in Chicago. All I remember is the nude scene(and they were pretty scrawny). I then saw a college production a few years ago, and remember that the folks in the nude scene were much more well toned. Hair on The Ed Sullivan Show

She went on and on about the two of them, especially about what a magnificent singer Carl was and how Ted had an almost-Jesus-like manner in the way he interacted with people in real life.

She adored both of them, as well as Tom O'Horgan, who referred to the cast (through his megaphone) as "Babies"--as in "Babies, come downstage now!"

Yeah, Ted's pretty much still like that. Took method acting to a whole new level. :P

As for Carl, never met a better singer in my life. Ever. That man could make anything sound beautiful.

I can't believe I actually remember watching that Ed Sullivan show in 1969!

The harmonies on the "Flesh Failures" section come out really well in that clip.
