Does anyone know if Bridges will actually have a life in sheet music? I saw that First Date, Rocky, and even Big Fish have Vocal Selections coming out in June and July. Even shows like Beautiful and Janis Joplin have sheet music that is about to become available although that is nothing groundbreaking since many of those songs have been available for decades in sheet music. I cannot find a single thing online about this possibility.

I would say it's highly likely.

His sheet music folios are always huge sellers (even 13 is a top selling title) and with the tour coming up I can't see them not publishing it.

Maybe sometime in the 4th quarter.

Someone asked JRB this question on Twitter and he said he was working on it.

Has there been any update on this?

These things usually take a long time, just so you know.

As soon as I see it I'll be sure to bump this thread.

I haven't the faintest idea on where they are with this though.

Jason wrote this is our Music Director's group when someone asked last month--- "Available digitally in July, and full score in paperback by October (we hope!)"

JRB tweeted the following today: "An answer to 'What's going on with the @BridgesBroadway vocal selections?': Last round of proofs! (We hope.)"

Sounds like it is going to happen! Yay! I would love to play this music. Although my instincts tell me it is not going to be easy to play, at all.

Or easy to sing, but I've gotta give it a try. What an amazing vocal score this will be!

YES. I'm learning how to play the keyboard and this and Carole King's music books shall be my incentive to keep going and practicing!

^ I don't think this is the ideal material for someone learning to play the piano.

^Im not starting "new". I'm getting back into it. And that's why I said it was an incentive. Once I get back into it I'm going to buy them.

I am seriously tired of waiting for this sheet music, I google them like every other day to see if there's any news. Come on, JRB!

Hopefully this is a good sign, on MusicNotes two songs are now available. Look at Me, and Something From a Dream. Now we just need the rest!

I just noticed this yesterday! Thought it was a fluke at first. Now I just need some of the songs I love from the show, like Almost Real, To Build a Home and Another Life.

Going by the Amazon description, the two songs on MusicNotes are not included in the book.

The last couple of sheet music books that I have bought have not had guitar chords (Big Fish being one). If that is important to you, you may want to investigate that before you buy it.

It's available online (not from where I live, but still) and there's going to be a full piano/vocal score!!!

This music is so gorgeous, I'm just happy musicians and singers will be able to learn and enjoy it.

Is there a way to purchase the whole book instead of one song at a time? With 14 songs, $4/song gets a little pricey.

Sometimes musicnotes will sell them as a folio, but you're better off buying the actual book.

It's cheaper and larger.
