I'm sorry if this has already been asked/answered in the preview thread, but has anyone sat at the obstructed view tables or in the side seats for Cabaret? How obstructed are they/how much do you miss by sitting there? I'd like to take my mom to see the show and sit a bit closer than the rear mezzanine but I don't want to get those seats if they're awful.

Perfectlymarvelous, when I first bought my bar seat ticket at the back of the orchestra, I was told by the Roundabout rep that the obstruction was due to the rail. However, when a problem occurred involving my ticket, a supervisor informed me that the obstruction was the upper part of the stage which is cut off by the mezzanine. One song is performed by Alan there. So I would assume the tables in front of me may have the same obstruction. When I asked about changing to the sides instead of the back she specified that the back row was a much better view than the side. She did not elaborate other than you are seeing a lot of action from the side. Hope this helps.
