Has anyone attended SoHo Rep's 99-cent performances before? Any advice on how early to line up for tickets? Any info is much appreciated. Thanks!

I wouldn't bother unless you arrive at least 5 hours early (but it would probably make more sense to work a minimum wage job for 5 hours and pay the full ticket price, than to endure these horrendous conditions). Complete chaos, line cutting and disrespect. People who arrived 3 hours early were turned away after curtain. Never NEVER again. The theater used to offer 99 cent Sundays via computer but then changed to this ridiculous system. (If you come another night, pay full price and arrive late, they lock the doors and won't let you in.)

I did it for Uncle Vanya last year and it was a very enjoyable experience and one of the best evenings of theater of my life, but yes do be prepared to arrive several hours early.
