Has anyone done the Cinderella rush recently? What was it like? I want to rush it during the week next week. If I get there around 9:30am what do you think my chances are? I know its slowed down a bit and was wondering if anyone has done it recently?
tried last Wednesday, got there around 9:30 and the line was to the corner. by the time I got into the box office rush for the matinee was gone and they had a few rush tickets for the evening show left. my friends and I did the $49 rear mezz seats for the matinee.
I would say getting there at 9 is a safe bet. I rushed a couple of Thursdays ago and got there around 8 just to make sure (we were the first in line). By 9:30, I would say there was at least 30 people in the line.
The seats seemed to be mostly in the back and to the side of the orchestra (we were row T). The view was still great and we didn't miss anything on stage.
Playbill still says rush is for Mon-Thurs only. Anyone know if this still holds true? I'd like to try tomorrow, but don't want to be out of luck if they don't have rush on Fridays.
I'm actually going to buy the tickets for this show, so I just want to know, what are the best seats for this show? There's a site I'm posting the link to below that has a seating chart. If I were to pay the highest amount, which are the best seats for me to get, to like see the floor and everything?
I sat in center orchestra row R the first time I saw the show and that was perfect. I wouldn't advise sitting super close because the stage at the Broadway is very high.
I saw the show tonight. It was really lovely. Victoria Clark was out. I don't know if it was just tonight of if perhaps this week is her vacation. I went to the box office less than 2 hours before the show and they still have rush tickets. Sat in row F of the Rear Mezz
Has anyone done this rush lately? I was there in September and got left orchestra row T seat 1. I noticed then that everyone was able to get TWO student rush tickets instead of 1, as the website and playbill.com state. I need 2 tickets tomorrow so I'm wondering if they changed their policy to 2 or the box office person was just being very generous?..
does anyone know if the Tues-Thurs policy still holds true? I am looking to possibly get 2 rush tickets for Sunday... My friend was able to get one last sunday for laura's last and am wondering if that was just luck or if they are now doing weekends?
i know i've asked this question previously and i ended up not finding out for myself but does anyone know if they have rush on the weekends? Their website FAQ still says "Student rush tickets are currently available for performances on Tuesdays through Thursdays"
but then under "buy tickets" they have a link for tix4students to buy in advance. so...do they still do rush at the box office? or just online now? weekends? help. haha
Hairpsray0901, I rushed it on a saturday evening performance last week. I went to the window an hour before the show and I got it. Also, it's pretty empty inside so you should be fine
