This is an interesting concept. Brenda Braxon is in fine voice. She should make a return visit to "Chicago" on Broadway. Linda Roginski is very good as Roxie. She's a Chicago tour veteran. California Chicago
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
All their shows are done in the round...the kind of have no choice...they just did WIZARD OF OZ in the round as well....they are very good company to work for!
I do wonder how distracted I would be with rising stage pieces, but in all it looks likes a pretty well-staged production, including mimicking the Fosse choreography in the round. Brenda sounds great, as does Tom and Roz, and that Roxie is impressive.

Once again I'm curious as to why the BWW article credits someone else as the choreographer for this production when they were doing the Reinking material from the 1996 revival.

I haven't a damn clue why she hasn't had more lead roles on Broadway. Here she is blowing Whatever Lola Wants out of the water. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Ak90JipakY Updated On: 8/24/13 at 08:18 PM
