Josephat Siror

Josephat Siror Mr Josephat Siror is currently a student at University of Jyvaskyla, faculty of Music & Media Entreprises. Alongside this, he is corresponding with foreign and local media outlets in Finland.

Josephat holds an extensive eight-year long experience as a professional journalist having worked in different countries along Eastern and Horn of Africa serving various positions.

He has polished writing and editing skills in vast topical issues that include business, technology, music & arts, sports, politics and democracy.

Before moving to Europe, his recent contribution as a journalist has been reporting on hard news and reviewing of features. He has also been tasked to report on varied significant assignments while working for Standard Media Group.

At institutional level, Josephat has immensely been drafted in as a media and events management consultant. Some of the institutions which he has done this include Africa’s reknown research centre – Kenya Medical Research Institution (KEMRI) and National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).

He has strong language skills which include Finnish (fluent), English (fluent), German (average) and Swahili (fluent).
