Trinity Rep resident acting company member Janice Duclos stars as Jean, an unassuming woman who is thrown headlong into an unexpected odyssey when she answers an incessantly ringing cell phone in a quiet café.

This spring, Inside Broadway (Executive Director, Michael Presser), now in its 27th year, is proud to present Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies, which will begin performances in New York City on March 1st and run through May 21st. The production will tour over fifty New York City public schools throughout the five boroughs and will be seen by over 20,000 students.

L.A. Theatre Works presents a major new docudrama about Robert Kennedy's personal and political journey during the civil rights movement. The world premiere production of RFK: The Journey to Justice by Murray Horwitz and Jonathan Estrin, a commission for L.A. Theatre Works led by the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and co-commissioned by the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland, Stanford Lively Arts at Stanford University, and the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond, wraps up a two-month, ten-city national tour with five performances at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles March 17-21.

WaxFactory's 2010 Lineup Includes BLIND.NESS, QUARTET v4.0 and DELIRIUM 27

New York's WaxFactory has announced that its 2010 lineup will include BLIND.NESS, QUARTET v4.0, and DELIRIUM 27. BLIND.NESS features an all-female cast and will begin the season in January, running the 6th through 12th. QUARTET v4.0 will follow, running February 24th through 28th. DELIRIUM 27 will run March 24th through 28th. Each of the performances will take place at Abrons Art Center.

And, the role of the slick lawyer, Jack Lawson, in David Mamet's RACE, Spader is right up Spader's alley, after having played several sleazy film roles, including Steff in Pretty In Pink and protagonist roles in Sex, Lies and Video Tape, Crash, and The Secretary. His latest endeavor, starring as yet another slime ball on 'Boston Legal', a role which won him three Emmys.

The Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) announced two pieces of news today. The MITF expands to The Beckett and The Clurman Theatres at Theatre Row, in addition to its current theatres for its eleventh season. The festival will run from July 12 - August 1, 2010. In addition, an Early Bird Special for script submissions received by November 13, 2009 for the 2010 festival is available.
